The BMW X3 is a 4-door truck available at your BMW dealer. The X3 came in one configurations: 3.0si. The 3.0si configuration is powered by the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which makes 26 highway miles and 18 - 19 city. The X3 competes in the Sport Utility market segment, in direct competition with Honda.

BMW X3 Engine Specs

Standard equipment in the X3 for 2006 and 2007 includes the 3.0 liter engine by BMW, weighing in at 6 cylinders and twenty four valves. A 6-speed Standard Transmission puts the power of the engine to the pavement. This is a long-standing favorite for buyers in the Sport Utility arena.

The 2007 X3 gets 26 miles/gallon on the highway and only 18 - 19 in the city. This is subpar for a sport utility truck.

The 2006 model began the promise of the BMW X3. The 2007 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers BMW hopes that the X3 3.0si will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
