There have been several award-winning trucks from BMW over the years, including the BMW X6 of 2009. There are two trim levels to the X6, including xDrive35i and xDrive50i. The X6 xDrive35i is equipped with a BMW 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a ZF 6-speed Transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for BMW.
The restyled X5 xDrive48i is equipped with a 4.8-liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 32 valves. The engine is mated to a ZF six-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2008 version.
BMW introduced the X5 xDrive30i in late 2008 to regain its grip on the Sport Utility market. There are 3 trim levels for the X5 in 2009: . With four doors and spacious seating for several adults, the all-wheel drive X5 makes a statement. There is plenty of competition in the Sport Utility market, including strong offerings from Honda.
