The 2007 X5 is an important vehicle to BMW for the sport utility market segment. The 4.8i is a member of a series of two trim levels for the X5 which include 3.0si and 4.8i. BMW X6 Hybrid Enters Cold Weather Testing

Over at the BMW Blog they mention the X6 Hybrid is entering cold weather trials along with the soon-to-be-introduced X1.  I for one am excited about the X6 Hybrid.  BMW needs a decent hybrid lineup to be competitive in the near term.  An X6 Hybrid would be an excellent show piece for them to run through different car magazine tests.
