There have been several award-winning trucks from BMW over the years, including the BMW X5 of 2003. There are three trim levels to the X5, including 3.0i, 4.4i, and 4.6is. The 4.6is version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 2002 the popular 4.6 liter has made this a popular choice for sport utility buyers across the country.
In 2002 BMW released the X5 4.6is to the truck-buying market. The X5 came in three configurations: 4.4i, 4.6is, and 3.0i. The 4.6is configuration is powered by the 4.6-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 21 highway miles and 15 city. The X5 competes in the Sport Utility market segment, in direct competition with Hyundai.
